Our Early Learners are encouraged to practice their independence. Low shelves are made available to reach toys, materials, and projects. This encourage self-help skills which are of high importance.
Early Learners begin their transition into Prekindergarten education. Their learning experiences may be shared as well as individualized based on need. Students are introduced to cognitive, emotional/social, and linguistic skills through the Creative Curriculum:
- Cognitive Skills
- Emotional and Social Skills
- Develop self-confidence
- Assess similarities and differences
- Take part in dramatic play
- Story telling
- Develop writing skills
- Musical Play
Outside Play is important to all three skills. It allows for a breath of fresh air, play, movement, and socialization.
